Ageing: two years, of which at least one in oak barrels (see wine regulations).
Tasting profile:
The colour is garnet-red with soft orangey nuances.
The aroma is complex, rich, with forest floor violet, fruit preserve and spicy fragrances.
The taste is full-bodied, charming, with a slightly bitter and tannin finish.
Note: Barbaresco is a noble wine of the Langhe territory and it is one of the most renowned of the wine scene all over the world. It can be successfully served with second-course dishes, in particular those with red meat for its excellent structure and its mouth filling fragrance. Also ideal with mature cheese.
